What is the Standard Voice-Over Pricing Rate?
Professional voice-over pricing is set by service type, project length, and usage rights. As a Nigerian voice actor with 10+ years of broadcast-quality work, my rates are aligned with industry standards (GVAA-style) and start at $199 per project. Every service has fixed-price tiers with one-click Stripe checkout — no custom quotes needed for standard scopes.
Live Pricing by Service
- Commercials: $199 (15s) → $349 (30s regional) → $649 (60s broadcast)
- Corporate videos: $299 (≤2 min) → $549 (2–5 min) → $899 (5–10 min)
- E-learning: $199 (≤5 min) → $449 (5–15 min) → $799 (15–30 min)
- Audiobooks: Free first-chapter audition, then $349–$449 per finished hour
What Affects the Price?
Within each service, tier price is driven by three factors:
- Length: longer scripts take longer to record, edit, and master
- Usage rights: web/social only is cheaper than regional broadcast, which is cheaper than national broadcast or buyouts
- Turnaround: standard turnaround is included; rush delivery is available on request
How to Hire a Nigerian Voice Actor
Pick a tier on the relevant service page above, complete Stripe checkout, and email your script to hello@olavoices.com. I deliver within the package window with revisions included. For projects outside the standard tiers — multi-spot campaigns, broadcast buyouts, full course series, or monthly retainers — request a custom quote.
Why Choose an Authentic African Voice?
A Nigerian voice actor brings cultural nuance and an authentic West African accent that connects with diverse audiences and stands out against generic stock voices. For brands targeting African or diaspora markets — or simply wanting a voice that's memorable — authenticity is the differentiator.
