My Voice, My Story: The Journey Behind OlaVoices

My voice is a canvas-a creative playground where the vibrant rhythms of West Africa blend with the lyrical clarity of Dublin. Born in Ibadan, Nigeria, and raised in Ireland by Nigerian parents, I grew up surrounded by the soulful melodies of Yoruba and the storytelling traditions of my heritage. When my family moved to Dublin, I learned to weave the warmth of my Sub-Saharan roots with the clarity and charm of a Western accent, crafting a sound that’s both authentic and accessible.

Every voice has its story, and mine is one of cultural fusion. The Yoruba language taught me the power of rhythm-how a single inflection can evoke laughter, sorrow, or pride. In Dublin, I honed that rhythm into a voice that resonates with European, UK, and US clients, bringing an authentic African twist to their projects. Whether it’s a commercial, audiobook, or narration, I believe every project deserves a voice that speaks its truth, connecting with audiences on a deeper level.

My journey to becoming a voice actor wasn’t a straight path-it was a tapestry woven with threads of heritage, adaptability, and passion. From reciting folktales in Ibadan to performing in Dublin’s creative circles, I discovered the magic of voice as a storytelling tool. Today, I’m trusted by global clients to bring their stories to life, blending the authenticity of West Africa with the polished appeal of the West.

This path led me to create OlaVoices, a platform where my voice becomes your story’s heartbeat. My mission is simple: to help brands, creatives, and organizations connect with their audiences through a voice that bridges cultures and captivates listeners.
